Description

This individual will be responsible for New Product Introduction to Service and Delivery as well as Channel Partners, for products and features which are delivered as part of each software release. Some of their duties will include:

- Work closely with Product Line Management, Project Management Office, and Engineering to understand new features and solutions in order to:

- Verify that the solutions meet Service and Delivery requirements for supportability and deployability.
- Identify and create standard work for deployment and support.

- Review design requirements for new products and features to ensure they meet the Service and Delivery standards for deployability, upgradeability, and supportability.

- Support design of upgrade process for implementation of new features on customer networks.

- Verification of upgrade/installation procedures in lab environment.
- Assist with creation of training material for each new product
- Create job aids for features in each release.
- Deliver service engineer training on products and features as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Leverage knowledge to increase and refine content of the Knowledge Management System.

Qualifications

- Must have 3-5 years of experience working in a telecom environment.
- Very good understanding of network architecture and dataflow as well as the challenges involved with sufficiently monitoring these networks.
- Strong background working with customers to identify solutions which meet their business needs.
- Demonstrates substantial protocol knowledge and knowledge on telecommunication services.
- Strong team work orientation and should be able to work in matrixed environments.
- Must be able to travel internationally.
- Must have clear oral and written communication skills.
